Introduction

This is the official introduction and test post for OpenCivil.com! This site is a free, online resource for civil engineers and students worldwide. When the site is running with all features enabled, it will include:

• The OpenCivil Search Engine (search results biased toward civil engineering, powered by Google);
• The CivilWiki knowledge base containing historical, design and conceptual information to assist civil engineers with their day to day activities; and
• The OpenCivilCast summarizing news related to construction and civil design as weell as design and or productivity tips.
